My Weekly Korean Vocabulary 1 is a book that helps you plan your acquisition of new Korean vocabulary.

Each day, students are given a new word or expression to study, for example, “telephone call”. Along with the word, there are twenty additional phrases in which the term being studied is used: ‘home telephone,’ ‘international call,’ ‘to call,’ ‘to receive a call,’ ‘prank call,’ etc. This allows you to contextualise the vocabulary and, in each situation, repeat the word you are studying.

This book establishes a twelve-week study programme, and it does not matter what level of Korean you already have, as the aim of the book is to learn new words. By the end of the course, students will know 84 words and 20 example sentences for each of them, as well as grammatical notes.
