Sejong Korean Conversation 3 is the new level 3 textbook by the Sejong Institute. This book corresponds to volumes 5 and 6 of the textbook (Sejong Korean 5 and 6). The fourth volume of the series, Sejong Korean Conversation 4, corresponds to levels 7 and 8 of Sejong Korean.
Sejong Korean Conversation focuses on developing the students’ conversation, listening comprehension and communication skills in Korean.
The third volume of this series includes 14 units, each of which is divided into three main parts. The first two provide vocabulary and grammar explanations. However, the book does not just provide a simple explanation, but makes students participate in several activities that will help them assimilate the information.
The third part is divided into the following sections that alternate over the different units:
1. Let’s Practice: to check the knowledge acquired.
2. Let’s Talk: activities to encourage conversation.
3. Let’s Listen: communication practice.
4. Let’s Listen and Speak: listening comprehension and oral expression exercises.
You can access the audio file via the QR codes next to the exercises and activities. The audio transcripts are at the end of the book as well as the translations of the dialogues into English, grammar revision divided by topics, the answer keys and a vocabulary glossary in Korean and English.
